Refund Policy for My Food Kart

At My Food Kart, we strive to provide the best service and ensure customer satisfaction. In case you encounter any issues with your order, our refund policy outlines how we handle refunds for various situations.

1. Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a refund in the following circumstances:

  • Incorrect or Damaged Products: If you receive products that are damaged, defective, or not as described, you may request a refund. You must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the order.
  • Order Cancellation: If you cancel an order before it is processed or dispatched for delivery, you may be eligible for a full refund. Once the order is in transit or delivered, cancellations may not be possible.
  • Delayed Deliveries: If your order is delayed beyond the expected delivery time (due to circumstances within our control), you may be eligible for a partial or full refund, depending on the situation.

2. Refund Process

  • Requesting a Refund: To initiate a refund, you must contact our customer support team at support@6kart.in or call us at 9480675007. Provide your order number and details of the issue to help us process the request faster.
  • Investigation: Once we receive your refund request, we will investigate the issue and determine eligibility based on the circumstances.
  • Refund Approval: If your refund request is approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

3. Non-Refundable Items

Certain items may not be eligible for a refund, including but not limited to:

  • Perishable goods: Due to their nature, items like fresh produce, meats, and dairy products are non-refundable once delivered.
  • Opened or used items: If the product has been opened, used, or consumed, it may not be eligible for a refund.
  • Custom orders: Products that are specially customized for you are non-refundable once the order has been confirmed.

4. Partial Refunds

In some cases, a partial refund may be issued if only part of the order is incorrect, damaged, or delayed. The refund will be proportional to the value of the affected items.

5. How Refunds Are Issued

Refunds will be credited back to the payment method used for the original transaction. If the original payment method is unavailable, we will provide an alternative method for the refund (e.g., store credit, bank transfer).

6. Changes to the Refund Policy

We may update this refund policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App, and the updated policy will take effect once published. Please review the policy periodically.
